Status of SX-Key USB??

Hi,

Does anyone have any information about when the USB version of SX-Key will be released?· I need to·purchase an SX-Key and some development boards soon and will need a USB connection.· I'd rather not have to purchase a USB-to-Serial adapter ($18) in addition to the SX-Key Serial.· If the SX-Key USB·will be released·soon would Parallax give me a break on the price of the SX-Key Serial so I could purchase the necessary USB-to-Serial adapter that I will need?· I appreciate any information/help you can provide.

Hello Chris,

This is a question for me. The SX-Key USB is still in design. It's progressing, but very slowly. I don't think we'll see it for about six months at the soonest.

Thanks for the update.· I am sorry to hear that it is still so far away.· I do need to place an order for several items and I will need a USB connection for the SX-Key.· Is there any possibility of getting a price break on the SX-Key Serial & USB-Serial combo to help offset the additional $?· You seem to be giving away the USB-Serial when other items are purchased, any possibility of doing that with the SX-Key?· I am also planning on purchasing the O-scope and several other items (probably around $225-$250), so I would greatly appreciate it if you could include the USB-Serial adapter, since that would really help me out.· Thanks for your consideration.
