Someone wanted more help for the IDE a while ago and posted some tricks, here is an app to add all the tricks and notes you want for the prop. Add your own descriptions to the .dat files, right now its just DIRA and DIRB, its pretty self explanitory to use the dat files. just a help icon on the tray with an ascii chart and help for prop programming syntax, etc.

    bassmaster;

    Can you briefly describe what the app does and how it works? I don't mean to sound like a prude or anythng, but when installing executables, I like to have an idea of what something does before I install it. It's not that I don't trust you, but in these days where everything you install can affect everything else you already have installed, and will install in the future, it's just nice to know.

    Is this integrated with the IDE, or just a "stand alone" application. In either case, I can see it being useful, as trying to use the online manual is a bit daunting, and I'd be willing to flesh out a few keywords.

    Nice work 'bassmaster' - I like to use tools that are extensible. This
    provides a quick and easy way to bring up "my" notes.

    Sean;

    Very cool. I can think of a number of possible uses.

    I'll try this out latter. Possibly in stead of "RTF" you might want to think about using HTML. You could probably use an embedded browser window to display, so you wouldn't have to worry about actually parsing the html, just picking it from the file and sending it to the control. That way, you could also embed links to more detailed information, and even include referenced to pictures, etc.

    Oh, one more thing, when you pase spin or ASM code, it will not have the color coding, BUT, when you copy and past it back in, it will be pretty again. (working on this....)
