SXKey drops out of Debug Mode
Hi Guys
I'm debugging some code to handle serial input, written in SX/B. Im using the SX48 development board.
When I run the Debug command, it debugs between 5 and 20·cycles and then the the Debug window vanishes. The SXKey is warm to the touch.
Question:
·- Have I blown the SXKey?
·- Or do I have Gremlins, Pixies or Trolls in my computer?
·- Or is this a fancy undocumented feature?
Kind regards from Darkest Africa.

That happens to me sometimes.
I thinks it's because the serial comm from the PC get "out of sync" or something.
Try a shorter serial cable, or run the SX at a slower clock speed.
Bean.

Thanks... problem solved! Been using it on Com 4 (add-on card) because Com 1 often reacts strangely. It’s now been running for 15 minutes on Com 1 without a hiccup.
Some day I’ll understand PCs, I’ve only been working with IBM compatibles and their descendants for 22 years!!
Kind regards from the glorious Kwa Zulu countryside on this amazing summer day… somewhere in Darkest Africa (Hey, my house isn't even on Google Earth yet)
