Hi all,
I've been working on EAGLE CAD for a while and I can say I do have·some little exp. on it...
But I haven't figured out how to print the board so to make the real thing...
I actually need a mirror image 'cause I'll use the ironing method of printing the board...
So anyone who would help me figure out how to do it suggesting a guide is wellcomed...

I also use express_pcb but don't know also how to do this...

Thank you for your time,

Warm regards,

MC Tricky

On the board view, you go to File>export>image choose png, use 600dpi or 1200 if your printer is high res. Make sure you have the bottom side layer visible with only the layers showing you want on the art. Dimension, pads, bottom, etc.

When I used to make boards at home, I'd just print it on transparency and flip it when I put it on the board under the light. If you are trying to use transfer paper and not transparency with light, just export the image, open it in some art software(Photoshop etc) and flip the art. You might be better to post at cadsoftusa.com and see if anytone knows a better way within Eagle.

You should be able to print directly from Eagle if you are using the toner transfer method. When you are in the board layout mode you are viewing the board from above. If you place a text label on the board you will see that it's reversed. When printed out and ironed on to your board it will be correctly oriented. You will however have to turn off all unnecessary layers before you print it.

Text is mirror imaged when·you place it from the begining at the back of the board... But if you use the toner tranfer method it has an option which if enabled it will create a mirror image of the whole schematic (when you select print there is an option: Mirror )

I only lack the printer now...

P.S. :·What kind of paper should I ask to use for this method and how would I ask it (how you name it)...

    Warm regards...
