Microsoft Robotics Studio
I think everyone is being narrow minded which tends to happen when Microsoft is involved. I was very excited to hear about the MSRS and downloaded it and was programing with it in about an hour and a half. I out grew the BoEbot a while ago, I 'm now working on robots about 5 times larger than the BoEBot. my current project has an on board computer running windows XP. I'm working on doing away with the Blue tooth and doing a direct serial connection. My Basicstamp will handle the sensor inputs and the computer doing the rest. This give me the option of web enabling, Camera, wav output speech recognition, text to speech, X10 compatibility and what else I can conjure up. I have about out $250 into this robot and $89 of that is the battery. I picked up a used Micro ATA computer used from a local store for $50.00 including windows. I have a wireless network connection and until I get it autonomous It's fun to drive around via a remote desktop connection.
there is my $.02!
