.··· I am very happy to let you know that the·red_LED on port RA.2 blinks three times then waits two seconds then blinks again !

.·· I am guilty of assuming a bit too much and of not following directions (which I still have not seen) exactly.· One of the first computer lessons is to follow directions exactly.
.·· maybe I would have found (and maybe I would not have) a section on your site describing how the change from serial to USB was developed and exactly how to implement it.
.·· It took three weeks (I started on Jan 8th) doing it this e-mail-every-other-day·way - each of us struggling to wrench another piece of information from each other - using e-mails - trying to understand what the other was saying.· The break came when I started sending pictures...· If we had been face to face (anywhere) - our eyes and ears would've contributed to a five-minute solution.

.· Now I can resume my hobby (after a two year hiatus and a new computer) and proceed to let the circuit on my vertical blinds be aware of the time...· I now want them to open at noon - to let the light in - as a sort of wake-up-notice.· I can do that, now.
