splitting the code screen ?

The P manual says you can drag source code panes to be able to see multiple objects. That seems to work, but only for one pane (i.e. I can't get three source panes to be separated).
What I DON"T find is any way to be able to split a source pane into 2 scrollable sub panes (like you can do with Excel, etc). Possible?
I tried opening the same object twice, but it's too smart to allow that.
