Surface mount MOSFET question.

Greetings!
I'm trying to figure out how high loads I can put on a specific MOSFET without it overheating, but I can't really understand the datasheet...
(Blushes... and I'm supposed to be a nerd... )
Here's the datasheet:
www.elfa.se/pdf/71/07115538.pdf
It's a 'two in one' type SO8 Surface mount package which would be REALLY useful in a little project I'm working on.
It will be used to control two motors(only one way), with PWM, drawing a max of about 1A each.
Max 'working time' will be no more than 15 minutes, at the most, usually less than 10.
I'll be using a setup similar to the schematics posted in this thread:
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=623443
Any advice on the Amperage rating on the diode?
Edit: Fixed typo...

Think Inside the box first and if that doesn't work..
Re-arrange what's inside the box then...
Think outside the BOX!
