ezLCD-004 SD as data storage

I have a BS24P and a Propeller Demo Board.
I intent to use the ezLCD-004 LCD buil-in SD flash card as a data storage.
Right now I am taking the easy path and program the BS24P to send and read commands from the ezLCD-004 LCD.
I have a 2 GB card ready to use as data storage.
Have any one tried this (in both BS24P·or Propeller)?
Any help will greatly appreciated.
