Broadcast video mode VS Baseband, what's the difference in generation?

Hi all, I just thought I might post a slightly off topic idea here, as their seems to be quite a bit of interest in TV broadcast. Has anyone considered trying Digital TV (DVB-T) generation Signal Generation from the propeller? This page fabrice.bellard.free.fr/dvbt/ shows an example using a PC using its VGA card to generate COFDM modulation signal.
