Which BASIC is closest to PBasic
I'm looking into purchasing a BASIC language to compile PC programs. I've started looking at LIBERTY BASIC but I find some of the syntax to be deffrent. This got me wondering is there something closer to PBasic.....maybe REALbasic? Does anyone know if Parallax modeled PBasic after existing syntax.
An example would be LIBERTY BASIC requires addresses to be [bracketed] whereas, PBasic requires nothing at the director (GOSUB address) and a (:) at the address (address:). I like this better.
I was hoping that someone in the forum has seen a couple of diffrent BASIC languages and can point me in the right direction.

I used for sending serial strings out of the computer , i quite easy , but is a very simple language ,, depends on what kind of PC program you are trying to build. one that has good apresentation in Visual Basic..
I don't really know much about programs, see if that helps
Amaral.
hope that helps.

Personally, I'm fond of Visual Basic 6. I've used REALBasic, and it seems like the natural successor to VB, if they'd only leave it alone. They keep revising it every 6 months.
I believe PBasic was not really modeled on any existing BASIC -- well, perhaps GWBasic, but without statement numbers.
