Higher VGA resolutions?

Yes I know that Chip has done the impossible a few times already, but I was wondering if it may be possible to increase the resolution even more, or even get gome colours...

It just struck me that...

1. The Propeller has dropped in price since it was released...

2. It can use any external clock, not jsut an Xtal, right?

Would it be possible to lump a couple Propellers together, clock them from the same source, and set them to start generating the VGA-stream when they get an external signal?
(WAITPNE, possibly)

Is there any reason why three Propellers couldn't generate one colour each, and have them match up to create one great picture?

Just thinking out loud....

This is going to sound silly, but why not use multiple cogs on one propeller just for video, and another for program logic?

They already do... I believe the highest resolutions uses up to 5 COGs...

    The problem isn't clock-cycles, it's RAM.
    A 640x480 x 256colours bitmap takes 300KB.
Even 640x480 in B/W mode will take 37KB
