Controlling a regular servo (not continuous rotation)

Hi,

I would like to use my BS2 to control 3 servos;
1. roughly 1/8 to 1/2 horsepower servo that can hold various positions (for a custom robotic arm)
2. small servo that can hold various positions (for a custom robotic finger)
3. roughly 1/4 to 1/2 horsepower (or more) continuous rotation servo for a wheelchair

I have a friend who was involved in a car accident with me some months ago. He has lost the use of his arms and legs. His head moves O.K. So, I was thinking I could just put a robotic arm on his wheelchair that could do 6 different things, he'll be a happy camper; mobility, eating, drinking, smoking, and the TV remote.

The motors on my boe bot are too small for these purposes. This is what I'm thinking (please tell me if I'm wrong);
1. HB-25 controller for the arms and wheelchair: http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=29144
2. 28823 USB servo controller for the fingers: http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/motors/PSCusbManualRevBv3_4.pdf
3. 900-00005 standard servo for the fingers: http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/motors/stdservo.pdf (is this enough power for fingers?)

I am not sure if the 28823 controller will produce enough power for a robotic finger. The manual lists the power as 5VDC but doesn't list a amp nor watt rating. Also, what motors can I use that are ~1/2 HP continuous rotation, ~1/2 HP position holding, and <1/8 HP position holding?

Thanks a million guys,
Lilly

    1.The HB-25 can not controll servos
    2.You do not need number 2 the bs2 can control 3 servos easy
    3.It should be good
    4.I do not know if you can find a servo·as big as number 3
