Basic Stamp 2p40 demo board?

Hi,

Where can I get a Basic Stamp 2p40 demo card?

Parallax said that this was discontinued:

    The PDB is really a better deal even though it's more expensive, but if you really want a BS2P40 demo Board, you might want to check with some of their distributors such as Jameco, Mouser, Hobby Engineering, etc. I'm pretty sure Jameco is still showing it in stock.

    Hello, it's not new, but I found one at the following link starting at $0.99.· eBay can be a good source of things no longer available.· The only thing is it wouldn't have a warranty.· Take care.

    I think you misunderstand. I am interested in the demo card listed above because of the instruction book that came with it. I have no idea what the difference is between the stamp ii on my boe-bot and the stamp ii 2p40 except for the fact that the 2p40 has more i/o pins. If I can fit the stamp ii 2p40 chip into the professional development board without mods, then I can go for that, too. In other words, where can I find the instruction book for the stamp ii 2p40? Thanks, guys ;0)

    ·· The BS2p40 is covered in both the BASIC Stamp Manual as well as the Help File in the BASIC Stamp Editor. There is no separate manual for the BS2p40, however the schematic (and other information) is available at the link below. Take care.

    You did not misunderstand. I did. I thought that there was a special manual for the BS2p40. I enlarged the following pic and noticed that the manual in the pic is not specific to the BS2p40, but it is for all Basic Stamp, "Basic Stamp Reference and Syntax Manual".
