(Fake) USB ports instead of PS/2?

I think parallax should consider using (fake) USB sockets where it currently uses PS/2 sockets.
Almost all mice and keyboards will work fine with either even using the PS/2 protocol. And the
USB sockets:
- Have a much longer lifetime
- Require much less force to insert/remove
- Are physically smaller
Every time I plug or unplug a mouse or keyboard from my demo board, I'm afraid I'm going
to break the thing.
Those big old round DIN connectors have got to go.

But I see why Parallax didn't choose fake usb plugs. First of all, it would mean massive confusion for first time users, and there are no 'fake' ps2 to usb converters. This means people wouldn't be able to use ps2 only mice with the demo board.
