Whats the difference between a QTI sensor and IR? Can they be interchanged?
For example - if I want to run IR on a robot, can I replace that with a QTI?

As I remember, the QTI sensor is only appropriate for very short distances, and only reflective applications. With that in mind they really can't be interchanged, unless they were both being used in that type of application.
