Just purchased my bs2 w/ homework board rev.d.Having alot of fun(on pg. 79), would like to know if a 9v adapter with a switch would be feasible?·Plugging or just making a connection with the 9v transistor battery every project is a pain and thought this would be much easier.I did search forum with no luck. probably a no brainer question!

    ramput,

There are adapters designed to be 9V “battery savers”. These should be safe for your H/W Board. The thing you want to be careful is too much voltage going into the 9V snap. Try to stick as close as possible to the range 6V – 9V. I hope this helps. Take care.

...and there would be no problem with putting in a switch.

I went to Radio Shack and bought a package of the snap-on connectors that 9V batteries use and then put two back to back with a toggle switch in the middle.

This lets me switch my 9V battery on and off.
