PSC Usb version doesn't seem to work ...

Hi.
I just can not seem to get the PSC (usb version)·that I recently received to work!
When using the gui software, the green led will flash when I move the sliders.

I get the Comm Port Open message in the text box in the gui.
When trying to get the version #, all I ever see is "Version:..."

No servos I connect do anything when connected. I have verified that they do work by using a BOE I have. I have tried a DC wall wart power supply, and a 4 cell AA power supply to power the servos --- all with never any result.

Is it just dead? Blown? I'm going to send this to Parallax support too.

I just received my PSC today and I ·am having the same problem. PSC does not control servos and when I check for version I get " Version..." The only diode that lights up on PSC is red. The controller destroyed 2 servos by slamming them into the stops on channel 1. The first time I thought it might be the servo so I tried another....ooops! The other channels do nothing. Now its the start of a holiday weekend and I cannot reach anyone till tuesday :-(.... If anyone can shed some ligh on this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Tom,

You should always start a new message for help on a new topic. This thread was done which is why there was a delay in seeing your message. In any event the servo controller, if not functioning should not be putting out any pulses at all. This being the case there is no reason the servos should hit the stop, and even in doing so no reason they should be destroyed by doing so. Where did you purchase the PSC from?

This problem has been handled very quickly and professionally by Parallax and Chris Savage. I do not think I have ever had such great service from a supplier.
