Transition from protype to production

After designing and testing my product using the BS2 OEM, what components do I need to carry over to my production PCB for it to function? Just the EEPROM, resonator, PIC chip, and regulated voltage source? Is it okay to leave the other components of the Basic Stamp out?

For production purposes, can I use an OEM board and one PIC chip to program the EEPROM, then simply transfer that EEPROM to my production PCB? Thereby eliminating the need for programming components built into every production PCB.

I have been looking at this schematic: http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/schem/bs2oem.pdf
And I am wondering if there is another schematic out there showing what this would look like if you did not need the programming ability built into your OEM design. I am wondering what components on the left side of the schematic can be eliminated.

Thanks for any advice.
