Quention in logging osiloscope data...

Hi everyone, i am struggle with a question here,
have just brought a parallax osiloscope to monitor a continuous signal pulses·from a IO card.
I need to perform something like data acquisition to log the pulses according to time for a specific duration such as a few hours time.
Have tried the data export function, but it only output a specific short range to data.
Do let me know if anyone have a solution for this, else i might·consider to return the unit as i initially thought that there is a data saving function to enable saving signal data for a period of time, say a few hours as long as the hardisc is not full.
