Can a little LCD screen, say in the area of 3"x 5" (I dont have an exact size) be spun around an axis at around 1200 rpm?

    I think probably it can; the biggest challenge is a way to reliably deliver power and signals to such a configuation. Assuming you figure that out, bolt it down tight and ramp up slowly... let us know how it works out.
