I attempted to use the loader with Ubuntu 8.04 and when it went to upload it said
Could not open port: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/ttyUSB0'
Any help to get around this issue would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like your prop plug is not being detected.
Try ls -la /dev/ttyUSB* and see what it says?
I just wanted to say thanks!
Loader.py works nicely on Xubuntu 11.04 (32-bit), while other tools don't. Now off to try it on my 64-bit machine (Xubuntu 10.10).

At least, that's what I use when starting it from a terminal. But I'm open to better ideas.
Thanks for the testing!
