DS1302 and MAX1270 SCLK Pin

I am building a BS2P24 circuit that uses a MAX1270 and a Pocket Watch B.
I want to replace the· Pocket Watch with a DS1302 but I am already out of Pins on the BS2... (the DS1302 requires one additional pin that I don't have.)
Is it possible to use the same BS2 pin to drive the SCLK on both the MAX1270 and the DS1302 as long as I turn on/off the RST on the DS1302 each time I address it?
If so, can I just connect the three pins together, or do I need some type of buffering?
Thanks,
George

·· Not only should you be able to use the SCLK line, but you should also be able to use the SIO line as well…Most SPI devices can share the clock and data lines and only require their own reset, latch or chip select lines, as the case may be.· If you want to see an example of several SPI chips sharing these lines, please see the following project.· Take care.
