Stamp emulator for testing?

I apologize profusely and in advance if this is one of those airplane-on-a-conveyor-belt threads; I attempted to use the search function with no useful results. Please·tell me if this is the case.
I am a student in a basic electronics class, and we are currently using one of the·simplest (probably the Basic Stamp 2, judging by statistics and the programs I have) BASIC stamps to do some robotics stuff. The unfortunate thing is that the stamps are not allowed to leave the room, for one reason or another, which means that all program testing must be done inside the classroom.
I was wondering if there were any emulators available that would allow me to test programs for the BASIC stamp without actually having a stamp plugged into my computer. This seems like the kind of thing that would be posted to death here, but the search didn't return anything, so I had a go at it. This would greatly help me out with this particular class.
Thanks for the time, regardless of any result.

It's really hard to test programs for the Stamp anyway without the actual hardware attached. So much of the "gotcha's" are due to interactions with the hardware whether it's LEDs or pushbuttons or motors or sensors. You really just have to have the hardware.

·· The folks over at eyeWyre have simulation software for our robots.· I believe there are some demos on their website.· You can find them at the following link.· I hope this helps.· Take care.· http://www.eyewyre.com/

IIRC, Al Williams wrote one. Its still available on his website here:

Its only BS1 but should let you experiment with code and concepts.
