Parallax Main Site down?

I can't seem to access the parallax main page today. I was able to get to the forums by going directly to:
http://forums.parallax.com
But any address that begins with www.parallax.com gets a 'Page can't be displayed' in IE6 and a 'Connection Timed Out' in Mozilla firefox.
Has this happened th ayone else?

The main Parallax site has been open all day. There is likely a problem with a network router somewhere between your ISP and the section of our network where the main site lives. You can try a traceroute to see if something is amiss. On a Windows system, the command is: tracert www.parallax.com. On Linux systems, its: traceroute www.parallax.com.

I got a lot of strange e-mail addresses/server names(Malvern PA?) for the first 12 'hops', and then from hop 12-30 I got "Request Timed Out"...
    Still doesn't work...

Call your ISP. This happened to me once, except I had access to the main site, but not the forums. My ISP tracked it down to their own providers who sent them erroneous router table data.

I can't get there either... I use comcast from the Philadelphia burbs... Malvern, PA is close by, so that must be the trouble spot... Only because I love Parallax so much, am I willing to call them up and give up the next 8 hours of my life as they put me on hold!

I'll let you know what they say.

Just spoke with Comcast... they assigned a Tier 2 level ticket and will work to correct the problem.

Hang in there guys. My most recent experience included waiting for 5 hours while one carrier contacted another to dispatch a truck. It must have been close to 'quitting time' because the truck didn't arrive for another 3 hours. All that to fix a broken wire in a box down the street. Next time, give ME the soldering iron and I'll fix it :)
