Toddler not moving at all! HELP!
hello guys,
i am new in robotics field. i recently brought a toddler kit. i have finished assembling it. and the aseembing is fine...coz i can see the power LED glow when i shift the button to position 1 or 2.
i tried to see its movements...i just downloaded the code and loaded it into to the microcontroller. But when i run the program its not working...the initial program of moving the servo motors(prog.1.1 centering the servos) is alos not working. but wen i debug or check for syntaxes..evrything is intact...Tokenize successful is the statuts. i also tried prog.2.1, first steps of the toddler. it not working either.
however, i connected only the stride and tilt sevo jumpers to pins 12 and 13, but did not connect any other compnent yet, like resistors or sensors. i hought they might not be needed for the first steps.
Pleaseeeeeee...someone HELP!!!
i really need to get this working!

Connect Vs1 and Vs2 to Vss with wires,·then load any basic program·and see your toddler moving.
Generally, the first snag amongst new users is that you haven't gotten the USB port to relate to the right COM port in the IDE software.
Obviously, no program.. no movement.
At times, people don't have the correct USB driver [an available download from Parallax] and at other times the default COM port does not match what the intialization has found.
AND...
If you don't have th USB version, it is merely a matter of finding the right COM port.
