adc using the ctrmode

I have seen various examples on using the propeller for a DAC application, but i do not really
understand how to use the analog ctrmode. What i would like to do is, assign a pin for the analog
input and obtain a weighted output of how ever many bits, stored in an internal register. ADC's generally
have a reference voltage that is used to·determine·the bit weight, so i am not sure how or if this can be done
with the propeller chip.· Hope what i am saying makes any sense.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

As I far as I have understood, the prop uses the supply voltage as reference for the delta sigma method. Including the variations and precision of this voltage.
I do not know the switching voltages related to the supply voltage. This would be interesting.
Look here for a direkt input to output: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=25&m=115264&g=115358#m115358
