Reading A Signal From An RC Receiver

I would like to use the Stamp to read signals from a Radio Control receiver.

What I am hoping to do is:
1)·disconnect the lead which would normally go from the RC receiver to the servo motor
2) connect this lead to an input of the stamp
3) read the signals (frequency??)·coming from the receiver
4)·program the stamp to react to various·input frequencies

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions that anyone can provide.·

Use the PULSIN instruction to measure the pulse width, 500 to 1000, 750 stick centered.· Just like driving a bot, only backwards if you look in the Robotics text.
