My best friend just told me, "I'll give you a choice - do you want me to get you a Christmas present, or do you want me to just say 'Merry Christmas' and you won't owe me $250 anymore?" (I had to borrow $250 from him a few months ago when I was out of work.)
I told him, you know, that's ironic, because it just so happens there's only 1 thing I want for Christmas, that I didn't think I could afford, that happens to cost exactly $250!!
"Ok, so merry Christmas, go buy that for yourself with the money you were going to pay me back with and we'll call that even!"
