Spin Quick Reference Guide

To all,

I am only able to work at the Propeller part-time and, as such, am still struggling with the nuances of the SPIN language. Rather than rifle through the manual every time I need to look up an object or method, etc., I decided to make a quick reference card. While it is only cutting, pasting and formatting stuff that was already in the manual, I offer it here if anyone is interested.

This is nothing like the development of a new language like Forth, or a new operating system to run on the Propeller - just a simple document that can be printed out on front and back of some cardstock and laminated.

To our friends at Parallax, I hope I have properly documented the copyright.

Ed Parsons

Thanks! Excellent. It is hard to keep everything straight. This should help.

Nice quick reference card. I have a color laser that duplex (print both sides) and it came out looking great. I am in the same boat as you and had worked on something similiar but yours is much better looking

    Thanks for sharing your work

    Ed,

I wish I had Scott's printer, but it still looks great in grayscale on two pages! Thanks!

Cheapy here didn't buy the manual, just printed the download. Dog-earred now.

I second everyone's comments; just printed a copy; this should become so useful. Thanks so much. yeah.gif

    Thanks Ed!

Beats having to page through the·manual.

Going to print a colour copy soon.

Edit: Page Index is useful too.

Great card. Thanks for sharing it!

Maybe someone from Parallax could sticky this or put it into one of the reference stickies so it doesn't get buried?
