Capacitor Polarity

I've completed WAM and am launching into Industrial Control. (I'm a bit worried that IC may be a bit over my head, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!)

Page 17 of IC manual (19th page in pdf here: www.parallax.com/dl/docs/books/edu/ic.pdf) shows the now familiar RC circuit. The 1 uF capacitor that came with IC is marked with polarization. After all the dire (!) warnings in WAM about being sure to wire polarized caps properly, I'm surprised there's no warning here.

Newbie that I am, is the rule of thumb to put the + lead to the Vdd here?

Yes.· More accurately, the positive terminal should go to the more positive "node" of the circuit it's in.
