Sensor question

Hi everone,

i build the circuit (in the manual where the sensor part). the circuit is correctly working, however, the IR sensor does not work the way that i wanted. i need to point the sensor upward to the celling. by doing this, it some time work. if i put the IR sensor straight as shown in the manual, it won't work at all. can you guy tell me how do i slove this problem.

The sensor should point in the direction you want to sense. You also need to have the IR LEDs pointing in the same direction. Make sure your connections are tight when the sensors are in the correct positions.

we need a bit more information... what page in what manual are you referring to? can you provide the program you are using? If you circuit is correct, and your program is correct, I suggest you look for any short circuits and also check your power supply (are you using fresh batteries?)
