What happened to the serial commands in, TV-out display modules?

I can't even remember what they were called but there were two of them. One did text only and the other did text and graphics. They were little modules (Solutions Cubed modules?) that could be controlled by a Basic Stamp much like a serial LCD but they produced TV out through an RCA jack on the side of the module. I saw them last on the website many months ago. I thought I might add one to a 6502 board I have to produce a little video game system, but now I can't find them for sale on the Parallax site. Have they been discontinued?

I suppose I could use a Propeller chip to "roll my own" video out module, but it wouldn't be aethestically pleasing as a "hack" - what use would the console's 6502 board be if it's video out processor is capable of being a video game console all by itself? I already have a Propeller based video game console.

    Dennis,
Those are my modules. The overlay module is out-of-production, but the normal video generator module can be purchased here:·www.sxvm.com

Ok, thanks. I didn't realize that one had sound output too. It'll be a while before I order one; have to get the 6502 board figured out first. It is salvaged from an old arcade machine, no docs but with only 4 main chips on the board, looks like it is a nice clean design.

The lack of graphics won't be a problem for it as a game machine - ASCII art baby, yeah!
