Pin outs on AppMod headers?

Hi,

I'm using a BSAC basic stamp activity kit board, and a BS2sx.
On the board, there is an AppMod header that has 2 rows of 10 Pins.

I would like to interface to this header, but can't seem to find the
pin mapping to the BS2sx chip.· I checked the on-line documentiation for this board
but it does not seem to have a map of which pin on the BS2sx goes to which socket on the header.

Can someone provide a list of which pins on the header go to which pins on the BS2sx?

    The pinouts for the AppMod header should be silkscreened right next to the header.· If they are not there, let me know and I can give you the pinout.

    But how do I know which sockets on the appmod header go to what pins on my chip?

    The BS2sx pinout is:

    The AppMod connector pinout is simply P0-P15 from your Basic Stamp plus Vss (+5volts), Vdd (Ground),
    and Vin (what voltage you supply to your board). For the actual pinout, check the documentation for
    just about any of the AppMod products from Parallax. Here's a link for the SoundMod board.

    OK, David.· On a BOE, pins 1 and 2 are Vss, pin 20 is Vin and pin 19 is Vdd.· Make sure the Stamp of off, and check the continuity to see if that is correct.· If it is, then you can safely assume that pins 3-17 are Stamp pins P0-P14 (even numbers only) and that pins 4-18 are Stamp pins P1-P15 (odd numbers only).

    Let me know if the header checks out like that.

    Sid your mapping is correct as far as Pin 1 & 2 being VSS (ground), Pin 20 being VIN (unregulated) and Pin 19 being VDD (+5V).· I will do as you suggest and assume pins 3-17 are Stamp I/O even numbers and test it.
