Hi,
Does anyone know how to connect an external antenna to the Parallax GPS Receiver Module?

If so, what properties would a GPS antenna require?

thanks,
mcory

    Hello,
    ·
·· GPS Receivers have very finely tuned antennas that are designed to pick-up the frequencies that the GPS Satellites operate on.· Changing the properties of the antenna in any way would only serve to make the GPS less likely to function properly.

If you NEED an external antenna, there are other "OEM" GPS units available that support (require) an external antenna, and they also sell the antennas, along with connector cables, all tuned and ready to go. I don't have any links, but had run into several via google. I think their were one or two available via Digi-Key.
