Is there any way to increase the speed of two servo motors connected to a
Basic Stamp II? Or is the

PULSOUT2, 650
·
fastest they will turn.

PULSOUT 1, 1000 and PULSOUT 2, 500 would be the fastest.

That's the theory anyway. Test them. In real life, my servos gain no speed beyond the lower figures.

Running the servos at 6v instead of 5V will give you a little more speed.

Note that this is not a limitation of the BASIC Stamp but of the given servo.· Another thing you could do but which would involve mechanical additions would be to gear the output shaft.· You could put a large gear on the output shaft (spline) and drive a smaller gear connected to a wheel.· Also, simply creating a larger wheel will increase speed.
