Hey guys.

I was thinking about making a robot in the near future and decided to use a Data Link of some sort. Problem is, i can't find a place online to get one. I've found a few but they were $1000+ and weren't what i was looking for... Anyone know a place where i can go look?

Something like the Parallax RF Transmitter/Reciever's but more powerful.

Look at Martin Hebel's website for a Zigbee interface for a Stamp. He has a complete AppMod plugin and a second, more universal plugin <http://www.selmaware.com/appbee/>

Thanks Mike, that's pretty much what I'm looking for but 1mW Transmit Power is alittle small.

Look carefully. There's a 100mW option as well. The huge advantage of using only 1mW when the needed range is appropriate is power consumption ... important when running off batteries.

    Check out this link http://www.maxstream.net/products/xtend/dev-kit.php
They're adjustable from 1 mw to 1000 mw. I bought this kit; works pretty good.

Hey Tim... also look at www.radiotronix.com I have a couple of the Wi232DTS these are intended for serial communications, trasmit power is fully configurable, and the transmit rate as well...... just $30 per module, it transmits in the unlicensed 900 Mhz band.... I have been using it for the past year and it is a great module in a small package...
