eb500 - BoeBot - W300i Phone

I am new to robotics. I am interested in using the remote control features of a bluetooth enabled Sony W300i phone to control the Boe-Bot through the eb500 module. The phone has a remote control GUI and is capable of remote controlling the curser on a computer.

Is the eb500 module robust enough to function like this with out a great deal of back-end programing..?

Has anyone used their cell phone to control a Boe-Bot..?
