the infrared transmit cirucit is builded by using IC555(see attachment).·The circuit·is connected with basic stamp2. The function of the circuit·is to transmit ascii data to another IR transceiver which is connected with PC through RS232 socket.
my questions are that:
1. Is it necessary to use a MAX232 to convert basic stamp·output·from·TTL to RS232 ?
2. if (yes), please give the code example to show how to transmit ascii data.
