just encase anyone else is interested in what i wana do

This code here, runs a routine in my scanner http://lasers.musicfoxaudio.com/XYscannercode.html

The last effect called bouncesky does this effect http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j185/andy_con/?action=view&current=081120061.flv

As you can see it jumps to 3 different y point, bottom middle and high. How do I get the bottom middle and high to last longer. Say I wanted each one to last for 10 seconds before moving to its next y point??? I want keep the x movement fast so it still makes a complete line.

I just want the original code tweeted

    Andy,

I looked at your code and your video, and not sure if it's doing what you want.· Are you only excuting the BounceSky sub or all of them?· Seems like the video is doing all of them.·

If you just doing the BounceSky routine·it seems to be the cycles is what controls the duration

So try increasing the cycles in the following locations:
Just before the GOSUB EFFECTBounceSky (from 70 to 100)·and within the EffectBounceSky subroutine (there's two) say 20 to 100 and 70 to 100. and see what that does and let us know.

Sounds like a fun project.· You may want to change the name of your post to Help with X/Y Laser!

This forum is 'on the house'·as a lot of skilled talent looks at these pages.
