I once worked at a company, for a short time, that made such laser devices for large scale applications. Such as Disney World, Mt. Rushmore, Rock Concerts…etc . I have to commend you on dealing with such precision and timing issues. I never quite understood exactly what they were doing but it is amazing no less and very exacting. I do know the hottest computer on the market, at the time, was a 286! So I’m curious just how they dealt with the issues of timing and data and I do remember seeing a 4’ foot tall rack of support equipment.

I can’t imagine attempting it….and the same with yours, despite modern tech!

Your project is an interesting and fun to look at, and I enjoyed the tour. Way over my head technically. But I generally understanding the concept. Can you make me one that would, display on the back window of my car, to politely turn-down high beams? And if that doesn’t work perhaps a ‘single-digit’ graphic may be in order?

Best of luck and keep us informed!
