I recently acquired a Basic Stamp 1 rev B marked as '(c) 1993 by Parallax'. It came with the original manual (rev 1.0), floppy disc and parallel port programming lead. It works fine with the new BS1 serial adaptor and the Basic Stamp Editor v2.2.6.
I was curious to know if this is the oldest model sold or·was that·the rev A. Articles about Parallax talk about "the original Basic Stamp 1 rev. D" and I always wondered what became of revisions A-C!
I attach a photo for those curious to see an 'antique' basic stamp.
