Wire length limitation

I want to interface my BOE board to another breadboard.· I plan on using the 20 pin connector on the BOE and connect to a 20 single row to plug into the external breadboard and 24g wire.· Is there a practical wire length that I need to be concerned with between the two boards: I'm talking inches here, BTW.· I have no particular circuit in mind so can't spec things like V, A or frequencies I might encounter, I just want to be able to swap external breadboards depending on what I am working on.· I also don't necessarily need to pull Vdd from the BOE the even though I will have the connection for it carried over to the external breadboard.
Thanks,
Jim

You would need some real distance in·yards for it to be a problem.

Tommy, I know it wasn't designed to·x, but can you make it·do x·anyway?

Thanks, that talkes care of that. now all I have to do is make my big fingers connect little wires to even littler connector pins.
