    What is your setup?
Javelin board with javelin and BOE with basic stamp?
Javelin and basic stamp have different time units
so their values would be different.

both boards with javelin stamp...the only difference with the stamps is one has been used more than the other.

If you have R and C setup on both boards, these may be the cause
for the difference. Resistors usually have a 5% accuracy and electrolyt capacitors
usually have a 10% accuracy, which means there could be a +-15% difference
    between the two RC circuits.
If you interchange the javelins, are the values the same?
That is, the value for a specific board, does that change
    when you change the javelin?
Another cause for the difference could be the oscillator on the javelin.
Temperature and·age do affect a crystal.

    regards peter

another question about the BOE does it support a 12 volt supply?? the board says 6-9 but on your power supply comp chart it says 12 is good.

    Hello,
    ·
·· 12V is acceptable, but you have to be careful about going over that because the BASIC Stamp is powered from Vin, and its on-board regulator shouldn’t see more than 12V or so.

    James,
    ·
·· Not really, although the recommended power supply for the Javelin is the 7.5V @ 1A.
