I'm trying to find a sound byte of a "Ring Wraith" from Lord Of The Rings.· My grand daughter is going to dress up as one of these creatures for halloween and the whole family is participating on the project.· My section is trying to record the sound efect on an AppMod sound module.
Anybody have a link to something that sounds like a Ring Wraith?

I seriously doubt you will find any availible for the obvious reason of copyright infringment. Hyperdyne Labs sells pre bundled sound effect modules for costumes for $240 and $465 for the 8bit and 16bit versions, they likely cost as much as they do because they went the legitimate route of liscencing the sound from New Line Cinema.

I'm not looking to infringe on a copyright, but if anyone is aware of a shriek that resembles a Ring Wraith I would appreciate it.

On the other hand, if you have the DVDs and extract the sound yourself
for your daughter's costume, considering that the sound effect is less than
30-seconds, I believe that this would be considered "fair use". **BUT** IANAL.
