Role of RESET when Debugging?

Role of RESET when Debugging?
·
Daubach (p. 29) and the SX-Key Dev System Manual ver 2.0 (p. 31) both state that a RESET directive is needed to Debug.
I have simple programs with no RESET and they seem to debug fine.
·
Why?
Perhaps I am not using the feature of Debug that is affected by RESET?
Perhaps without a RESET a default kicks in and covers me?
Any other explanations?

    John,
If you are using SX/B the PROGRAM directive generates the SASM RESET directive.
