LCD Front Panel Set from PICLIST

Hi Folks - I'm wondering if anyone has used the 2x16 LCD w/HD44780 controller, 4 push buttons, 3 LEDs and a 2x12 pin header found at http://massmind.org/techref/io/lcd/panel1.htm·with the BS2.· I wired up the panel and tried the BS2 program at http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=603-00006·with no luck so far.· Any insights would be appreciated.

    If you would post your wiring diagram, that would help others help you!

    Also, did you use the Parallax program AS IS or did you modify it. If you DID modify it, also attach the code.

    ·· There are obvious differences between these devices as far as connection, but it looks like all the LCD connections are available on the header, but beware, they’re not in the same order!· Be sure of your connections and there is no reason why the code we have shouldn’t work.· Check the contrast level on the display too.· Sometimes people have the display working and don’t realize it because they can’t see anything due to a low contrast setting.· I hope this helps.· Take care.
