Is it possible to have more than 6-8·DS18S20·on a BS II?

    You could possibly connect a large number of DS18S20 (or any other 1-Wire devices) on a BS2. Once you get beyond a few or have more than a few feet of cable separating them, you need to have external drivers. Dallas/Maxim has several application notes on constructing large 1-Wire networks complete with detailed information on driver circuitry. They also sell drivers and other support circuitry for 1-Wire networks.
