how do u connect a ibm pc style joystick to a basic stamp 2 and program it to make it control the robot and if possible making it wireless connection

Well, if I wanted to do it I wourl search google for :Joystick Circuits"
I did that and here is the first link that came up.

It will give you the pin out of the joystick and other data you will need.

Interface to the basic stamp using the information in what is a microcontroller sections on switches if the joystick you are working with has switches.
