Hi all.

I am going to purchase PSC for my robotic project.

Do I need RoboRealm PC Software to control the PSC or I can do it with my BS2?

What is the benefit of using the software and how can i get the software.

Thanks.

    azmax100 -

The Parallax PSC can be driven by any platform which can produce an asynchronous serial output. This includes the PC, any PBASIC BS-2 (or better) Stamp, and most other micro-controllers. I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the RoboRealm PC Software.

    Regards,

There are two versions of the PSC. The USB version can be connected directly to any PC with a USB port. The serial version is designed to connect to a microcontroller and cannot connect directly to a PC. The voltage at the serial PSC is not designed for connection with an RS-232 serial COM port. You can buy an adapter, but the best and simplest thing is to buy the PSC version for the type of connection you want.
